Can you dance the Tango? Is it a therapeutic dance? Maybe the Tango reveals the inner emotions of dancers …

Any dance in therapeutic, in my humble opinion, but tango has always been one of my favorites, almost up there with flamenco. Same passion and smoldering sensuality.

I find the dancers very challenging to each other in a hypnotic-like state.

But that happens in any contact dance: slow waltz, slow foxtrot, rumba, or paso doble have the same interaction and the same effect; that’s why they are in the same division in competitions. Flamenco is different in that it could be, and often is, a solo.

It’s more intense with the Tango. The humor imposed are the combative moves. Smiles!

When I was a kid I thought the dance was actually called the Tangle. LOL!
